How to Prepare Your Podcast Session
The podcast studio is equipped with a RØDECaster Pro, microphones and headphones. Before your session, decide whether you want to record to microSD or to your own computer.
Choose how you want to record
To microSD: bring a suitable microSD card.
To your computer: bring your laptop with your DAW and the required RØDECaster software/drivers.
If you record to microSD
Bring a microSD card whose important contents have already been backed up.
If the RØDECaster needs to format the card, existing data on the card will be erased.
If you record to your computer
Bring your own laptop with a DAW such as Reaper, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, GarageBand, Audition or Pro Tools.
Install the required RØDECaster software and drivers before your session and check that your computer can connect to the RØDECaster by USB.

Before you start
Test every microphone, headphone and audio source before the full recording. If possible, make a short test recording and play it back.
